Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were filthy, and the owner and his wife were unaccommodating and extremely rude. However, the location was fantastic, overlooking the market square, which was clean and lively.
The hotel has a load of potential with very orange but extremely comfortable rooms featuring en suite and tea/coffee making facilities. The service was very nice, especially with helping find disabled parking during the Ypres Rally. The location is second to none, right on the main square facing the Cloth Hall, but the noise from traffic and nearby bar can be disturbing. The dining was adequate with a cold buffet and Asian dishes available. The hotel offers friendly service and great value for the price.
The hotel is ideally located right on the main square in Ypres, offering a great spot for exploring. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, but the simplistic decor might not be to everyone's taste. The service is friendly and helpful, except for a minor hiccup in the restaurant. The dining experience is enjoyable, especially the breakfast selection. Overall, a convenient choice for a stay in the heart of the town.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city center with lovely restaurants and attractions nearby. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but lacking a proper wardrobe. The service was outstanding, going above and beyond to assist us with storing our cycles and offering surprises just because. The dining experience was a delight with a variety of delicious options. Overall, a great choice for a city break with some minor room amenities to consider.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the location was excellent, just as expected for a hotel in the center of town. The breakfast selection was good, though the restaurant was quite full during my visit.
The hotel is in a superb location overlooking the cloth hall and the square, offering a great view and easy access to the city center. The rooms, although in need of renovation, provide a spacious layout with separate toilet and shower rooms. The breakfast buffet is varied but lacks hot food options, and the staff are attentive and helpful. Just keep in mind the nightly staircase challenge when the lights go off.
