I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were filthy, and the owner and his wife were unaccommodating and extremely rude. However, the location was fantastic, overlooking the market square, which was clean and lively.

I stayed in a room overlooking the market square, which was clean. The room could sleep two adults and one child/slim teenager/small adult on a temporary bed. It had a bedroom and lounge area.

Despite the room conditions, the service was surprisingly good. The staff were very helpful when I encountered a problem with my car, sorting it immediately and with great grace. They were attentive, even refilling my coffee and orange juice promptly.

The hotel is right in the center, literally on the Main Square. It's amazing to be in the hustle and bustle of it all, with the Menin Gate just a 5-minute walk away and the In Flanders Fields Museum opposite the hotel.

The hotel has a load of potential with very orange but extremely comfortable rooms featuring en suite and tea/coffee making facilities. The service was very nice, especially with helping find disabled parking during the Ypres Rally. The location is second to none, right on the main square facing the Cloth Hall, but the noise from traffic and nearby bar can be disturbing. The dining was adequate with a cold buffet and Asian dishes available. The hotel offers friendly service and great value for the price.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city center with lovely restaurants and attractions nearby. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but lacking a proper wardrobe. The service was outstanding, going above and beyond to assist us with storing our cycles and offering surprises just because. The dining experience was a delight with a variety of delicious options. Overall, a great choice for a city break with some minor room amenities to consider.
